Obituary

Terri (Barnett) Brehm of Reynolds Lake Oconee in Greensboro, GA passed away on June 23, 2025. Like so many courageous women who have faced breast cancer, Terri was a fierce warrior in an arduous battle. She fought with grace, dignity and inspiring determination.

Terri was born in Columbus, OH and graduated from Walnut Ridge High School in 1972. She attended The Ohio State University while working in administration at OSU Hospital. In 1982, Terri moved to Atlanta to pursue an engineering degree at Georgia Tech. While at Tech, she worked in the Atlanta sales office of the Ohio-based Automated Packaging Systems, where she met her husband, Cliff, and they soon started a family.

In addition to her husband of 41 years, Terri is survived by daughters Kari Brehm of Sandy Springs, GA and Kelly (Taylor) Moss of Canton, GA. She was a loving "Yama" to her granddaughters Riley and Emily Moss. She was preceded in death by her daughter Erin Brehm.

Terri is also survived by her mother, Margaret Barnett of Columbus, OH. She was the eldest of six children and leaves behind siblings Mike (Linda) Barnett, Steve (Beth) Barnett, Greg (Sue) Barnett, Pat Barnett (Joe) Harvey, and Robert (Susan) Barnett – along with numerous nieces and nephews.

Terri and Cliff created many loving memories raising their daughters in Alpharetta, GA and as residents of Sea Pines on Hilton Head Island. They also made Aurora, OH their home for several years during Cliff's career with the company. They enjoyed traveling the world together, watching their family grow and spoiling their precious granddaughters.

Terri had a warm and outgoing personality that quickly captured the hearts of those she met. She made cherished and lifelong relationships wherever she lived. She was a member of local women's social clubs and volunteer organizations. She also enjoyed participating in various neighborhood groups for tennis, golf and bunco.

While we grieve our loss, we know her radiant smile and sparkling blue eyes will forever shine in the memories of her family and friends.

The family will hold a celebration of Terri's life in the Alpharetta area at a later date. In lieu of flowers, charitable donations can be made in her memory to Victory Train 5800 Lake Oconee Parkway Greensboro, GA 30642 or online at victorytrain.org.
