Mr. Terrance Lee Kalka age 62, of Alpharetta died August 27, 2009. Survivors include his loving wife of 39 years Charlene Marie Kalka of Alpharetta; sons Terrance Lee Kalka II and his wife Stephanie of Freehold NJ, Anthony Charles Kalka and his wife Chambless of Atlanta; grandchildren Brandon Anthony Kalka, Claire Randolph Kalka and Eve Audra Kalka. Terry's career in chemical industry sales, marketing and business development spanned 35 years. He earned his Bachelors in Chemistry from Bowling Green State University, an MBA from Loyola University in Chicago, and attended the College of Petroleum Studies at Oxford University, UK. At retirement he was the New York director for the Society of Tribologists and Lubricating Engineers and a chairman for the Independent Lubricant Manufacturers Association.
He served his country in the United States Army Reserve Airborne division for six years and his communities through the Boy Scouts of America, the Connecticut Jaycees and the Exchange Clubs of New Jersey. Mass of Christian Burial will be on Friday September 4, 2009 at 10 AM from St. Thomas Aquinas Catholic Church with Father Chito officiating.
