Obituary

Thomas Dean Miller beloved husband of Carol Ann Holton of Roswell, Georgia, passed away on Sunday, November 5, 2023 and is now at peace with our Lord.

Tom will be remembered for his exceptional love of family. His morals and ethics were unrivaled and the foundation of the role model he was as the patriarch of his family. He was known for his passion for life, fun and adventure. Of special significance was his following of Wisconsin sports teams especially the Green Bay Packers.

At age 81 he had a long and full life which was characterized by a number of unique accomplishments and achievements. After completing high school as a member of the state Championship team he attended HBCU Colleges on an athletic Scholarship.

Hall of Fame member, Elgin Baylor, suggested and arranged a tryout for Tom with the Lakers. While he was unsuccessful it attests to his mastery of the sport and level of his skills.

After finishing his college education he was selected by IBM to be a customer engineer serving major account such as Stanford University and that University of Wisconsin. He further developed his career as an entrepreneur in the hospitality industry.

Born in Madison, Wisconsin, Tom was the son of Arlene (Williams )Miller and William Miller . He is preceded in death by his parents and brother Richard Miller . He is survived by his wife Carol Ann, cherished by his family daughter Rae Ann Miller , son Thomas Dean Miller ;, granddaughter Jasmine C. White , grandsons Thomas Dean Miller III , Jace Miller and Jaxston Miller and brother Jerry Miller .

To say he will be missed by those who loved him, is an understatement of massive proportions.

Funeral services will be at St Andrews Catholic Church , 675 Riverside Drive,Roswell GA
Saturday November 18 , 11am visitation followed by 11:30 AM mass .
There will be a second funeral service in Milwaukee WI on Thursday November 30 with visitation at 11AM followed by funeral mass at 11:30AM at St. Francis of Assisi, 1937 N.Vel R. Phillips Avenue. 53212.
In lieu of flowers donate, new or continuing, to the HBCU school of your choice or to St Francis House of Peace.
