Roger Norman Tolbert, known to family and friends, as "Tommy" Tolbert passed away at the age of 87 on Tuesday the 30th of May 2023. Tommy was born and raised in Roswell, Georgia. His parents were Ena and Guy Tolbert. He had many siblings: Ben, Gene, Travis, William, Glennis, Susie and Johnny. He is survived by his sister Susie and many nieces and nephews that loved him dearly. Tommy was truly one of a kind and a very special man.

Tommy was a skilled brick mason and started laying brick when he was just 16 yrs old and continued to work until he was over 70 yrs old. He was drafted in the military twice and served both duties. Tommy was a talented singer and enjoyed singing gospel music. He grew up hunting with his family and friends. He loved watching baseball, basketball and football. Additionally, Tommy had a close group of friends that played cards on a weekly basis for years.

Tommy's service will be held on Saturday June 3rd at Northside Chapel in Crabapple. Family and friends are welcome to attend his service. The family will be receiving friends beginning at 12:30 pm and the service will begin at 1 pm on Saturday. Tommy's final resting place will be with his family at Green Lawn Cemetery in Roswell Georgia and family and friends are welcome to attend the service at the Cemetery.
