Tony Jack Bearden age 82 of Alpharetta passed away peacefully on October 10, 2023 surrounded by his loving family. Tony was born on May 8, 1941 in Roswell to Barton and Macey Smith Bearden. He was a member of Chattahoochee Baptist and Sandy Plains Baptist Church. Tony retired from the Cobb County Fire Department after serving 32 years as a fire fighter. He also worked part time as a brick mason. He was preceded in death by his daughter, Chandra Lynn James. He is survived by his wife, Peggy Hall Bearden; sister, Joyce Pettett; brothers-in-law, and sisters-in-law, Lloyd and Mary Erwin, Gary and Shirley Hall, Carolyn Hall and several nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held on Monday, October 16, 2023 at 12PM in the funeral home chapel. Interment will follow at Green Lawn Cemetery. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at Northside Chapel Funeral Directors.
