Trummie Lee Patrick, Jr. beloved husband, father, grandfather, and friend, passed away on his 80th birthday, January 7th, 2025 surrounded by his family. Trummie lived a life of remarkable dedication to his family, profession, and community, leaving behind a legacy of love, generosity, and service that will not be forgotten.

A graduate of the University of Georgia, Trummie was a proud member of the Kappa Sigma Fraternity and an avid supporter of UGA. He remained deeply connected to his alma mater throughout his life and was a member of Gridiron Secret Society and a founding member of the Roswell Bulldog Club. Trummie was also a veteran and served in the Air Force Reserve.

Trummie's professional life was a testament to his hard work, leadership, and unwavering commitment. He served as a State Farm agent for over 50 years, earning numerous accolades throughout his career, including the prestigious Lifetime Presidents Club and a 45-year Ambassador Traveler. To many, he was a mentor and a leader at State Farm, admired for his integrity, wisdom, and dedication to his clients and colleagues.

Outside of his professional achievements, Trummie was deeply involved in his community. He was an active member and past president of the Roswell Rotary Club, a Shriner and a Mason and a long-time member of Roswell First Baptist Church.

Trummie was also a man who loved life and knew how to enjoy it. Whether it was sharing a laugh with friends, telling a good story, or enjoying time with his family, Trummie's warmth and good humor were a constant. He was known for his generosity and for never meeting a stranger.

But above all, Trummie's greatest love was his family. It's hard to imagine a person that loved his family more than Trummie. He was a man whose heart beat for his family and his life is defined by the love he shared with them.

Trummie is preceded in death by his Father, Trummie Lee Patrick Sr., and his Mother, Estella Thomas Patrick. He is survived by his wife of 52 years, Sylvia Renfroe Patrick, son, Trummie Lee Patrick III (Amy) and daughter, Sydney Patrick Wells (David) as well as five grandchildren: Griffin Patrick Wells, Anna Kate Wells, Trummie Lee Patrick IV, Taylor Jones Patrick and John Bradford Patrick, who were the center of his world. He is also survived by his sister, Camille Patrick Carpenter (David) and their three children, Evan Carpenter (Christin), William Patrick Carpenter, and AnnaLysa Kimball (Josh). Additionally, he is survived by his nephew, Ed Powell and niece Janice Linder, and several great nieces and great nephews, including Lee Powell (Jessica), Chris Powell (Jackie), Bert Linder and Beth Golden (Justin).

Trummie believed in the power of prayer and our Lord Jesus Christ. His faith was evident in how he treated others, helped those in need and in his devotion to his family. He will be missed but never forgotten.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to Roswell Rotary Foundation or North Fulton Community Charity in Trummie's name.

The funeral service will be held on Friday, January 24th, 2025 at Roswell First Baptist Church at 710 Mimosa Blvd. The family will be receiving visitors at 1pm in the Parlor Room and the service will begin at 2pm in the Main Sanctuary. The reception will immediately follow the service at the Patrick home.
