With heavy hearts, we bid farewell to our beloved Vicky R. Benefield, a cherished grandmother, dedicated community volunteer, and devoted Christian. She touched the lives of many with her boundless love, selflessness, and unwavering faith. Her legacy of kindness and compassion will forever remain in the hearts of those who were fortunate enough to know her.
Born on November 2, 1946, Vicky Benefield was a beacon of light in the lives of her two precious granddaughters, Kayla and Kylie Benefield, and her son Richard Shane Benefield. She showered them with unconditional love, guidance, and laughter, creating cherished memories that will be treasured for generations to come. Vicky truly exemplified the essence of a loving grandmother, and her presence in their lives will be deeply missed.
A pillar of her community, Vicky was an active volunteer at North Fulton Community Charities, dedicating countless hours to supporting those in need. Her warm heart and nurturing spirit were evident in the care she provided to the less fortunate, offering them comfort, hope, and a helping hand. Through her selfless acts, she made a significant impact on the lives of many, leaving an indelible mark on the community she served.
Vicky was an esteemed member of the Roswell Women's Club, where she shared her time, talents, and passion for service. She wholeheartedly embraced the club's mission to empower women, uplift the community, and promote fellowship. Her dedication to making a difference was an inspiration to all who had the privilege of working alongside her.
Faith played a central role in Vicky's life, and her strong Christian beliefs guided her every action. She found solace in her relationship with God, attending church regularly and actively participating in various ministries. Vicky embodied the principles of love, forgiveness, and grace, leaving a lasting impression on those who witnessed her unwavering faith.
Vicky was a beloved sister to Chris Rowe and a cherished Mother-in-Law, to Maria Benefield, extending her love and support to her Sister-in-Law Rita Rowe, friends and family. She cultivated deep and meaningful relationships, offering a listening ear, wise counsel, and unconditional love. Her family held a special place in her heart, and she brought joy and happiness into their lives through her unwavering devotion.
We will remember Vicky as a dedicated, loving, and compassionate soul who made a positive impact on the lives of many. Her legacy will continue to inspire us to spread kindness, lend a helping hand, and embrace our faith. Though we mourn her loss deeply, we take solace in the knowledge that she is now at peace, watching over us with a loving smile.

Her service will be held at Northside Chapel Funeral Directors, 12050 Crabapple Rd, Roswell, GA 30075, on July 21, 2023. The visitation will be from 1pm to 2pm and the service will begin at 2pm, followed by a reception. Officiating the service is Reverend Jerry Tyler and organist is Maryanne Tyler.
