Viktor Kurenkov – a loving husband, father, son, brother, and dear friend – passed away on Friday, March 7th, 2025, at his home in Roswell, GA.
Viktor was born in Simferopol, Ukraine, in 1969, to Viktoriya and Anatoly Kurenkov. From a young age, Viktor was incredibly intelligent, curious, and full of energy. He had an adventurous spirit, a thirst for knowledge, and an infectious love for life. He cherished every moment and shared his joy with everyone around him.
Viktor graduated from Taurida National University, where he met Lyudmila, the woman who gave him the family he always dreamed of—children, a home, and unwavering support. Ludmila gifted him with their two children and a home filled with love, comfort and ... black dog's hair: all these black puppies she rescued that grew to be his beloved companions on nature walks, something Viktor cherished deeply. Together, they took the journey from youth to adulthood, building a strong partnership based on trust, respect, and deep love that lasted more than thirty years.
Viktor's life took him through three countries: from Simferopol to Israel, and finally to Atlanta, GA, where he and his family lived for the last twenty years.
Viktor was a multifaceted man of many talents. As an exceptional engineer, he was not only admired by his colleagues for his sharp mind but also for his kindness, integrity, and willingness to help others. His friends will remember him as a man with a lively mind, a great sense of humor, and a generous heart, always ready to engage in meaningful conversations on any topic.
Many knew Viktor as a passionate dog lover and sports enthusiast. His love for the outdoors was evident in his hiking trips, swimming, and volleyball games—activities he truly enjoyed. He carried the discipline and competitiveness from his athletic days into every aspect of his life.
For his family, Viktor was the heart of their home. He was a proud father to his twin children, a devoted husband, and a generous, caring man.
Viktor was a man of rare integrity and honor, and all who had the privilege of knowing him will forever carry his memory in their hearts.
In memory of Viktor, his family asks for understanding and compassion during this difficult time. May his soul find peace, and may we always remember him for the love, wisdom, and kindness he so generously shared with the world.


Виктор Куренков — любящий муж, отец, сын, брат и дорогой друг — ушел из жизни в пятницу, 7 марта 2025 года, дома, в городе Розвелл, неподалеку от Атланты.
Витя родился в Симферополе, Украина, в семье Виктории и Анатолия Куренковых. Необыкновенно умный, любознательный, с детства Виктор был полон энергии, жажды приключений и знаний. Он умел радоваться жизни, ценить каждое мгновение и делиться этой радостью с окружающими.
Виктор окончил Таврический национальный университет, где он встретил Люду, человека, благодаря которому у Виктора появилась семья, дети, и надёжные плечи, на которые он всегда мог положиться. Люда подарила ему двух детей, наполненный уютом семейный дом и спасенных ей черных щенков, которые вырастали в Витиных любимых друзей и попутчиков в прогулках на природе, которую он так любил. Вместе, они прошли путь из юности во взрослую жизнь, преодолевали трудности, строя крепкий союз, основанный на доверии, уважении и глубокой любви. Их история длилась более тридцати лет.
Жизненный путь Виктора пролегал через три страны: Симферополь, Израиль и, наконец, Атланту, штат Джорджия, где он с семьей прожил последние двадцать лет.
От Викторе можно говорить бесконечно : он был необычайно многогранный и талантливым человеком : выдающимся инженером — умным, талантливым, блестящим специалистом, которого коллеги ценили не только за острый ум, но и за доброжелательность, порядочность и готовность прийти на помощь.
Друзья запомнили его как человека с живым умом, тонким чувством юмора и добрым сердцем, всегда готовым поддержать разговор на любые темы.
Многим Виктор был известен как любитель собак и спорта: походы в горы, плавание, игры в волейбол ...
Для семьи он был сердцем дома, опорой, гордым отцом близнецов, верным мужем и великодушным человеком.
Виктор был человеком редкой душевной чистоты и чести, и все, кому посчастливилось знать его, будут хранить в сердце светлую память о нем.
