Wallace (Wally) Wesley Berry ,90, of Alpharetta Georgia passed away peacefully at his home surrounded by family on February 11, 2025. We rejoice in the promise of eternal life through Jesus Christ.
Wallace was born on December 4th 1934 in Chipley Florida to Louise and John Berry. Wallace went on to standout in multiple High School sports, with his favorite being football. He set his sights on Georgia Tech, where as a student in Electrical Engineering, he became a Yellow Jacket enthusiast…. attending football games with his family and friends for over 65 years. After marrying his middle school sweetheart, Sandra, Wallace worked his way through GA Tech which continued onto several engineering opportunities. His long successful career with Hewlett Packard held his most treasured memories, garnering many lifelong friendships along the way. Always entertaining with his quick wit and humor, Wallace never met a stranger. A few of his many interests included college football, attending sporting events, sports trivia and stats, vegetable gardening, classic country music, genealogy research and most importantly, shucking oysters and spending time with his family. Wallace is survived by his 4 children, Debbie (Oscar), Karen (Bill), Wesley (Tara) and Stacey (Mike); his 5 grandchildren Alex, Oscar Jr, Lexi, Cameron and Reece; his 3 great grandchildren Nicole, Lauren and Jack; and his loyal companion for the last 4 years, his Vizsla dog Brady. Wallace was predeceased by his beloved wife of 65 years, Sandra.
A Memorial Service will be held on Saturday April 5th at 1:00 at Northside Chapel Funeral Home - 12050 Crabapple Rd, Roswell, GA 30075.
