William Declan Sternot passed away on the 16th of January, 2024. He had turned 17 in November. He was a resident of Milton, GA. Declan, as he chose to be called, was a junior at Milton High School.
Declan lived his life with no regrets, always his true self. Declan was an avid gamer and treasured his community of online friends. He loved playing basketball, going on drives while listening to music, and watching the Cleveland Cavaliers. He loved to spend time with the people closest to him and to play with his two dogs, Daisy and Buckeye. Declan was the first one to stand up for himself and others. He was a valued friend, a beloved brother, and a loving son.
Declan was fortunate enough to spend time with nearly every single member of his extended family within the last 60 days, through the holidays and winter break. For that, our family is forever grateful. His last day with us seemed perfectly designed for him, doing all the things he loved and spending time with the people he loved.
Declan is remembered by his mother, Mary; his father, Rob; his brother, Sean; his sister, Megan; and his grandparents, aunts, uncles, cousins, girlfriend, dogs, and other close friends and loved ones.
