William Stephen 'Steve' Corder of Roswell, GA passed peacefully on January 31, 2025, after a day surrounded by family & friends. Steve was a resident of Roswell, GA since 1964, and was married to his high-school sweetheart, Cindy Haley Corder, for 57 years. Steve graduated from Roswell High School, then earned his bachelor's degree from Ga State University, going on to earn his MBA from Brenau as well as teaching at Brenau. Steve spent 20 years with IBM, before beginning a long career in providing support and residential services for adults with disabilities. Steve was an active member of Roswell United Methodist Church for 60 years and was a dedicated Rotary Club member for over 35 years, serving as Club President and Assistant District Governor.
In addition to Cindy, Steve leaves behind two sons – Stephen (married to Mary Corder for 32 years) and Adam, five grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
Services will be held in the Chapel at Roswell United Methodist Church on Wednesday February 5, 2025, at noon.
