William Winston Wilkin Jr. was born June 29, 1938, in Colquitt, GA to William Wilkin Sr. and Doris Wilkin. He was the first of two children. He graduated from the University in Georgia in the late 1960's with a degree in business. He had a lengthy career in sales in the medical equipment industry; after retiring, he continued working at Acousti Engineering in acoustical flooring. He was predeceased in death by both of his parents and two of his children, Wendy and Chris. He is survived by his loving wife, Melanie Wilkin, and his son Tripp and his wife Debra. He loved his extended family. William was a fine Christian man reading his Bible daily. If you were on his prayer list, be assured he prayed for you daily. He passed away February 15, 2026 peacefully after a short illness.
