Mrs. Alice Todd Foster

Alice Todd Foster entered into eternal life on May 1, 2017. Alice was born September 11, 1938 to Robert (Bob) Jones and Constance Jones (nee Underwood) of Atlanta. Alice attended Brown High School and was a favorite classmate in the class of 1956. After high school graduation she studied at the University of Georgia and Georgia State University. She had a long career in print production in the Atlanta area beginning at C&S Bank in downtown Atlanta. Later, she founded her own company, Due Diligence where she worked until she retired. Alice was a Stephen Leader at Peachtree Presbyterian Church and successfully led a divorce recovery group. Alice came from a musical family and loved music. She was an active member of the Peachtree Presbyterian Church choir and later the Roswell Presbyterian Church choir. Alice’s four children were her heart and she was heavily involved in their athletic activities serving on the board of the Red Oak Athletic Association in College Park. Being a grandmother was one of Alice’s greatest joys and she relished spending time with her four grandchildren and supporting them in their various activities. Alice had a kind and generous heart and was always reaching out to people in need either offering emotional or monetary support. Alice was predeceased by her mother, her father and her older sister Connie. Alice is survived by her husband, John L. Foster, Jr., son, James Todd, son Richard Scott Todd, his wife Paula (nee Monteith) and their 2 daughters Claire Alice Todd and Hannah Elizabeth Todd. She is also survived by her daughter Ann Todd and her spouse Amber Pattillo. Also her son William Gregory Todd, his wife Carolyn Ann (nee Dabbs) and their 2 sons William Justin Todd and Braeden Zachary Todd. Alice is also survived by many devoted nieces, nephews, great nieces, step-children, step-grandchildren and countless friends. Services for Alice will be held at 2 pm on Saturday, May 6th at the Roswell Presbyterian Church, 755 Mimosa Boulevard, Roswell, Georgia in the historic sanctuary. In lieu of flowers, her husband has requested that donations be made to the Roswell Presbyterian Church and earmarked for either the church’s Mustard Seed mission program or their music program.
