Mrs. Donna Rogers Crim

Mrs. Donna Rogers Crim, age 72, passed away peacefully at home with her family by her side on February 6, 2021 in Woodstock, GA. Donna was born on November 12, 1948 to the Reverend J. Davis and Marie Rogers in Rome, GA. Growing up in both Nashville, TN and Atlanta, GA she later attended Lee University in Cleveland, TN. She was a lifelong member of Mt. Paran Church of God. With a heart of compassion, she was an inspiration to all who knew her. God used her to bless many lives through her sweet, gentle, and nurturing heart. She was selfless and sensitive to the needs of others. Donna met the love of her life, Ray, in the summer of 1972 and they were married on February 17, 1973 spending 49 wonderful years together. Keeping Jesus at the center of their marriage served as an example of unconditional love. She was a loving mother to her two children raising them in a house filled with fun and laughter. As an avid volunteer, she served as PTA Treasurer, Girl Scout Leader, and was a Team Mom to countless baseball and basketball teams. She also treasured serving in the 3 year old classes on Sunday mornings and in later years being a part of the Mt. Paran North Welcome Committee. Known as “Mimi” to six grandchildren she cherished the times she was able to spend with them. When she looked at her family, she always had a special glow on her face and sparkle in her eye. She was thankful to have so many close relationships with friends and family over the years. Throughout her life in good times and in difficult times she always remembered her Ten Finger Prayer: “I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me” Philippians 4:13. Donna is preceded in death by her parents, James Davis Rogers and Marie Hunter Rogers; and her granddaughter, Jenna Grace Kochs. Donna is survived by her husband E. Raymond Crim III; her daughter, Kelli (husband Brian) Kochs of Roswell, GA; her son, Brandon (wife Megan) Crim of Cumming, GA; and her grandchildren, Lydia Katherine Kochs, Hope Hunter Kochs, Milla McConaha Crim, Faith Townsend Crim, Cole Hunter Crim; and many other extended family members. A memorial service will be held at Mount Paran North Church of God, 1700 Allgood Rd NE, Marietta, GA 30062, at 11:00am on Wednesday, February 10, 2021. Social distancing will be practiced. A private family graveside service will be held at Arlington Memorial Park in Sandy Springs, GA.
