Elizabeth (Betty) Durston

Elizabeth (Betty) Jeanne McDaniels Durston, age 66, of Marietta, GA., lost her battle with cancer and has gone home to our Lord Jesus Christ on February 4, 2007. She was born in San Diego, California on March 16, 1940 to the late Captain Charles Robert McDaniels and the late Jesse Frances McDaniels. She was the youngest of eleven children. Raised in Farmington, UT, she was a 1958 graduate of Davis High School. She attended the University of Utah and the University of Mississippi Medical Center. She was in the medical profession as a medical technician and unit secretary. She was also in the profession of being mom and grammy. She is survived by her three daughters, Lisa Marie Crawford-Mooney of Roswell, GA, Heidi Sharee Pawlak of Mackinaw, IL, and Heather Brook Durston Looney of Knoxville, TN; son-in-laws, Joel F. Mooney, Jr. of Roswell, GA. and Kevin Pawlak of Mackinaw, IL; sisters, Dixie Lee McDaniels Coker of Jackson, MS, Sharee D. McDaniels of Salt Lake City, UT, June Jones McDaniels of UT; brother, Robert McDaniels of CA.; 10 beautiful grandchildren, John Andrew Crawford, Jennifer Marie Crawford, Richard Shields Mooney, Rachael Caroline Elizabeth Mooney all of Roswell, GA, Emily Jane Pawlak, Alex Leighton Pawlak, Brenton Tate Pawlak, Chelsea Renee Pawlak all of Mackinaw, IL, Brianna Shields O'Dell and Tyler Kennedy Looney both of Knoxville, TN; ex-husband and friend, James Shields Durston of Flushing, NY; nieces, Jeannie Lee Coker of Jackson, MS, Nancy Coker Lightsey of Augusta, GA, Annette Coker Busbice of Madison, MS, Celeste Conde of Salt Lake City, UT, Doriann McDaniels Council of Kathleen, GA, Joyce Sengebau (McDaniels) of Orlando, FL; nephews, Richard C. Coker of Jackson, MS, Stuart W. Conde of Boise, ID, Gregory Rowley of Roseville, CA, Bill McDaniels of FL; and many many more wonderful nieces, nephews, and friends, in CA, MD, GA, MS, PA, ID, IL, and UT. A memorial service will be held on Tuesday, February 6, 2007 at 6:30 PM at the Crosspointe Community Church, 77 East Crossville Rd. Roswell.
