Trevor Noel King

Trevor Noel King, 53, of Roswell, GA, passed from this world on January 10, 2012 following a brave battle with cancer. Blessed with a generous heart and spirit, he truly had a global reach and impacted the lives of many people around the world. We have all lost a beloved husband, father, son, brother, uncle, friend and business associate. Born in India, he spent his youth in Ghana, West Africa before returning to India and graduating from St. Joseph’s Boys School; maintaining life-long, treasured friendships through the ‘Old Boys Association’. His early working years were spent in the Middle East before he permanently moved to the United States. There he met and married his wife, Doris, in California and they began their young family life in the Bay Area with the addition of their two cherished children, Michael and Danielle. In 1989, he founded Citland International; providing equipment and services to the mining industry which brought him to all corners of the globe-primarily Africa, which always held a big piece of his heart. In 1995, he relocated the business and his family to their present home in the Atlanta area. He was a force of life; driven and passionate in his pursuits including a climb to the top of Mount Kilimanjaro. He loved world travel and a good round of golf; but, above all, he loved his family and friends and Trevor never met a stranger. He is survived by his wife of 24 years, Doris King, his son, Michael King, his daughter, Danielle King and parents Raymond and Theresa King. He is also survived by his siblings Debbie Miller, Kevin King, Carrol King and Joanne Baxby; loving brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nieces, nephews and numerous relatives and friends from around the world. A mass of Christian burial will be held on Tuesday, January 17, 2012 at 10:00am at St. Thomas Aquinas Catholic Church, 595 Rucker Rd. Alpharetta,GA. 30004.
