Mr. David Lee Smith Obituary - Visitation & Funeral Information

David Lee Smith age 79 of Canton passed away surrounded by his family on Friday, October 30, 2020. Mr. Smith was a friend to all and would not hesitate to help anyone in need. He was a retired fence installer and worked tirelessly, many times seven days a week, to provide for his family. He was an avid collector of Coca Cola memorabilia, enjoyed NASCAR, country music and traveling. He is survived by the love of his life and wife of 63 years, Ruby Delores Smith; daughters and sons-in-law, Barbara and Jeff West, Sandra and Andre Rollian, and Ann and Gary Wood; five grandchildren, David Scott, Michael Rollain, Jesse and Libby West, Amanda Rollian and Lee Lewis; three great-grandchildren, Kayden West, Ella West and Bascomb Shealey; brother, Earl Smith; sisters, DiAnn Simonds and Joan Dumas. Funeral services will be held on Monday, November 2, 2020 at 2:00pm in the funeral home chapel. Interment will follow at Green Lawn Cemetery. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at Northside Chapel Funeral Directors.
