Mr. James Malone Husk

James Malone Husk, age 82, of Alpharetta, passed away unexpectedly on April 7, 2022. He was born June 11, 1939, to George and Katherine Husk in Pittsburgh, PA. Jim graduated from Penn State University with a degree in hospitality management. Jim served in the United States Marine Corps for several years prior to the Vietnam War. After working his way up to a purchasing executive at several companies, including Popeye’s in New Orleans, LA, Jim started his own purchasing consulting business with clients including Dick’s Last Resort, Silver Diner and Red, Hot and Blue. Jim was an avid golfer and fisherman and enjoyed spending time with his family and dog, Babushka. Jim is survived by his wife, Eli, his children Jane French and George (Penny) Husk, and four grandchildren, Sydney, Micah, Nathan and Kaylee. Jim is also survived by Eli’s children Marcio (Cicera) Rangel, Marcelo (Ana) Rangel, Monica (Bernard) Colwell, and five grandchildren, Alexandre Rangel, Melissa (Shannon) Center, Daniel (Bridgette) Rangel, Nicholas Rangel, and Gabriella (Marshall) Clark. She also has three great grandchildren, Addison Center, Lilliana Rangel, and Gage Rangel. Cremation has taken place and a private memorial service will be had for family and close friends.
