Mr. Kim E. Taliaferro Obituary - Visitation & Funeral Information

Kim Eugene Taliaferro, age 65, died on Sunday, November 28, 2021 due to complications of Parkinson's Disease. Kim was born on January 5, 1956 to Eldean and Billie (Sandusky) Taliaferro in Sayre, OK. A football star, he graduated from Texas Tech in 1978 and went on to work for AT&T for 24 years where he met his beautiful wife, Tina. Kim spent his time coaching his sons, making ridiculous slide shows on his computer, hosting parties, and dropping jaws with his perfectly timed jokes. His legendary bravado and wit along with his affinity to help those in need will leave a lasting memory for all that knew him. Kim was a mountain of a man who cared most about doing what’s right and least about what others thought about him. He really was one of a kind. He hated long goodbyes and would want all of us to celebrate his life together. Kim is survived by his wife, Tina; his son, Tyler, and daughter in law, Molly; his son, Dustin, and daughter in law, Carolyn; his grandson, William Rush; 3 brothers; 2 sisters; numerous nieces and nephews; and all of his friends that he considers family. Friends and family are invited to attend a Celebration of Life on Saturday, December 4th at Northside Chapel in Roswell, GA. The family will receive friends starting at 10am and the service will begin at 11:00am.
