Mrs. Patsy Ruth Flowe

July 12, 1927 - March 30, 2022

Patsy (Pat) Ruth Flowe, age 94, of Alpharetta went to be with her Lord and Savior on the morning of Wednesday, March 30, 2022. Pat had been a resident at Arbor Terrace at Crabapple for a short time since her Cancer diagnosis last month. Prior to her illness, she was an active member of The Orchards of Sweet Apple community. She loved her neighbors and cared for them as if they were her own family. Pat was known by many as Nana, and her pride and joy were her 5 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren. Pat was a member of Crabapple First Baptist Church. During pre-pandemic days, she was always one of the first to take her seat in church – always on the same pew. She so enjoyed a good toe-tapping gospel hymn and loved to hear the word of God preached. Prior to moving to Alpharetta, she and her husband Butch were members of First Baptist of Snellville. She continued to listen to Dr. James Merritt’s messages every Sunday morning until just recently. She was quite the avid and accomplished bowler throughout her life. Double knee replacement surgeries slowed her down a bit, but she could still show any of her young grandsons up. Pat served as a Volunteer at Snellville Eastside Hospital for many years. She had such a gift to serve and to bring joy to patients and their families. Her love for people was evident in everything she did. Pat was preceded in Death by her husband Carl (Butch) Flowe, her son Darrell Flowe, her parents (Blanche and B.U. Ferrell), her sister and brother-in-law (Kitty and Cliff Lockwood), and her nephews (Danny, Don, and Michael Lockwood). Pat is survived by her son Cecil Flowe (Penny), daughter-in-law Pam Flowe, grandchildren Jared Flowe (Emily), Kendall Flowe (Sara), Michael Flowe (Alex), Shelby Flowe Landrum (Taylor), Patrick Flowe (Ashley), and ten great-grandchildren. A memorial service will be held at Northside Chapel Funeral Directors, 12050 Crabapple Road, Roswell, GA on Saturday, April 2, 2022 at 11AM. Family will receive visitors from 10:00AM until the time of service. A graveside service will be held at Eternal Hills Memorial Gardens, 3700 Stone Mountain Hwy, Snellville, GA on Saturday, April 2, 2022 at 2:30 pm.
